Considered to be the biggest gastronomical event in the country, Rio Gastronomia had its 5th edition in 2015. The Rio Gastronomia happened in Rio de Janeiro where over 70,000 people attended and where many of the most important restaurants where present and awarded. Such restaurants include: Gero, Irajá, Pomar Orgânico, Aconchego Carioca, Entretapas, Tenkai, Sawasdee Bistrô, Colombo, Osteria Dell’Angolo e Laguiole.
The best foodtrucks are also present in the event, such as Roberta Sudbrack and Gula Gula.

Apart from the gastronomical experience the public has, educational experiences are also offered through workshops lectures given by professionals cooks.
